I love this J.Crew store and the sales associates that work there. My grandma just died and I needed black outfits with the proper necklines and dress length, and felt completely overwhelmed trying to find appropriate clothes online. Annie found me everything I needed to look beautiful for the ceremonies. I’m so thankful they had empathy for my situation and made the experience so easy.

My sister needed to exchange a very popular jacket. All the jackets online in her size were back ordered by 3 months. We went to the store associate to exchange and he told us the SOHO store had 1 left and he asked the store to put it on hold. It was very kind and gracious. She’s very happy with the jacket! Great customer service!!! Thank you!!!

Phenomenal store!!! Their layout is so clean, music is a great vibe, plants and countless styles with more on their online website. Daniel and Bryant was very helpful in assisting me with the mens clothes on the top floor. They have a lot of classic J Crew and then have collaboration with Japanese brands and other that have a lot of attention to detail and quality. If you are looking for great casual dress wear, this is your spot

Waited 20 minutes to pick up my order. I did this, thinking it would expedite the shopping process. When I arrived, I stood in line for 5 min at checkout, at rush hour, with only 1 person manning the desk. then someone directed me to wait in front of a closet door (). No one checked on me for another 10 min.
When someone finally came to check and help get my order, she paused for 3 min to help whoever was in the closet (appreciate her trying to assist whoever was clearly struggling to find the orders!) and then she took another minute speaking on the walkie talkie to report a “suspicious” Black man in a hoodie who had just entered the store.

I returned a jacket that I ordered for in-store pickup, the manager at the store called the soho location and got the correct size jacket put on hold at that store. He went above and beyond. Amazing customer service!

The store is cool, but very annoyed. I was visiting NYC and my hometown city does not have a Jcrew, so even though I found a few items that interested me I told the associate I would just order online later, so that if I changed my mind (aka they didn't match how I'd thought they would at home), I could still return online.

Jake S, pressured me into him purchasing it on my behalf and shipping it, assuring me I would have no problem to return it via mail if needed. I said ok. However, now that I am wanting to return some of the items, Jcrew customer service is telling me it’s not possible based on how he created the order. So, now I’m SOL with items that I don’t want. Really annoying that he pressured me into that, knowing I didn’t have a Jcrew at home and wouldn’t be able to return.

I’m not someone that typically takes the time to write a review, but I had such a great experience at this store. Lamar was our sales associate and he was so helpful to me and my 16 year old son. He took the time to find super cool outfits and genuinely took an interest in helping my son put together clothes that fit well and looked amazing on him. Then, upon checking out with Riah (Mariah) at the register, she also was so friendly and just a genuinely kind person. She took the time to ask about our trip to New York and we all had such a pleasant conversation. Whoever is hiring at this store is doing a great job. Thanks, you guys! You never know when those little acts of kindness really matter to someone so very much. They made our day!

This was years ago when J.Crew had a bridal shop attached in store so this location had fittings for dresses when you attend a wedding. I already had the dress picked out but I go between sizes so that's why I made an appointment.

I showed up on time but the woman who was conducting the fitting had another customer who ran over time so I had to wait.

15 minutes later, I was finally able to discuss the fitting. She told me that my appointment must not run over time even though the customer beforehand cut into my appointment. Luckily, the cobalt one shoulder dress in my petite size was available in store. I made the purchase and her demeanor changed and all of a sudden she started recommending accessories and shoes. I just gave her side eye. The Bridal Shop eventually closed down.
