Oh my! I just got home, and I am developing heat stroke symptoms. And I realized why… I was literally standing out for about 15 to 20 minutes, outside in the 90° heat, because the owner decided to talk to me about every single aspect about the food. This is not OK. People should never speak to customers for 15 minutes straight, especially not in this heat. If you want people to know the background on your food, put a beautiful sign out in the front describing what you would love them to know. By talking down for 15 minutes and they haven’t even ordered yet is absolutely not OK. I am not trying to be mean, but I would really recommend the owner find tools to help himself from over talking or over sharing. It’s just not professional, now I am feeling sick from being out in the heat for that long.

UPDATE: Look at the owners response… He called me foolish because I stood in the heat based on HIM talking my ear off. Because I was polite and listened? And then he said I looked confused looking at the menu LOL. I was reading the menu bro.

Way overpriced and food is not good. And they aparently can only prepare one order at a time. I showed up with a coworker. He put in his order and it wasnt until he received his food, then they took my order. It was not worth the wait. I should have checked the reviews first. Oh well it was a expensive lesson.
Update: guy dosent take constructive critisism very well. Explains why theres never any customers there. So if a customer is standing in line he needs to speak up or you dont automatically ask what there order is? Dosent seem right.

I found this food truck on the Happy Cow app and after reading about the high quality food served there, I was excited to give it a try. Please believe me when I tell you that the most glowing review of Tacos 'n Cream pales in comparison to actually experiencing Chester's phenomenal fare.

I ordered the Smoky burrito with a side of pico de gallo. I'm not a foodie but I was married to one so I got pretty good at recognizing quality cooking. One bite and I was floored by the rich flavor of the beans. I've never been impressed by black beans before today, and now I can't wait to come back for more.

The pico de gallo made my eyes roll in the back of my head but the real pièce de résistance is his corn! The incredible variety of flavors made me feel like my mouth had taken a trip around the world, so I wasn't surprised when Chester told me that he uses spices from all over the world.

The food is so outstanding that I would forgive terrible service but the owner was so friendly and engaging that I felt like family even before he said "Welcome home!"

p.s. As soon as I finished eating, I convinced a friend to drive up from Portland so I could introduce her to my new favorite food truck. I wasn't sure if I should get her expectations too high since I'm just a regular guy and she's an insanely talented Mexican chef. After the first bite she started moaning and pointing at her food while she was chewing and I was like, "I know, right?!"

Food is incredibly expensive. You pay premium for the absolute basic (rice and beans) and then an additional $2-5 for each topping. A burrito can easily end up costing $30+. For those prices I expect it to be absolutely delicious, but was disappointed. The cook (owner?) was very nice.

The food here is by far the best I have ever had, but at the same Focus on the the way you feel after wards I promise you well have never felt better in your life. Was at work all day grinding a tree stump and my arm and body so tired I came here to eat for my second time and it’s like I feel so rejuvenated. Any one who comes here and leaves a bad review must love all that garbage and go back to your fast food. He is working miracles and might cure what ills ya . Give it a try what you got to lose.

It has been some time and I need to come back! The food is always amazing. The Nutty Wutty is to live for!

The owner is passionate about his business, and I love it! Honestly, I would work here if I could because I would learn to make such great food at home home often!

People want to judge the owner for his passion, although seeing that he is still around even after covid is proof he has good food!

Yeah, the prices seem high to some, but you are getting what you pay for. If you want cheap you can expect to be sick. I have NEVER been sick after eating here. I can't eat meats from 98% of restaurants without getting sick. I can't get meats from a grocery store without being sick. So the fact I don't get sick here means it doesn't have the perseverives in it.

If you get the chance to enjoy this place. Remember that life is what you make it. Finding places that welcome you like family rather than places that do not value you is rare nowadays. As someone who works in a restaurant, I am always happy to find places corporate greed hasn't taken over.

Best elote and fish tacos I have ever had in my life. Horchata is great too, and the asada is also very well seasoned. I haven’t tried a single thing I didn’t like here. Yes the prices are a little high because it is excellent quality food; and yes the owner is very chatty, but it is just because he is rightfully proud of the food he serves!
