We accidentally stumbled upon this gem on our way out of the Dinosaur Valley State park and let me tell you, this is 10 dollars well spent! This place is more entertaining than Disneyland if you have any science background and they are regrettably nice and patient with their explanations so it's all very endearing. They had me at dinosaurs on Noah's arc and I was swept away by the display lab at the back of it all. My family had to drag me away as I was ramble/debating with the tour guides but all in all this was the highlight of our road trip (family was less enthused..).

Good fun. The lab tour was engaging and interesting. My kids had a blast.
I wish they had more gift shop stuff.

A schizophrenic hodgepodge of totally-not-fabricated artifacts paired with rambling nonsense signage akin to what you might see on a Dr. Bronner's soap bottle.

Take the obviously fake human footprint with all 5 toes neatly spaced out in the most unnatural looking manner. Or the sign claiming that you can cure your snake bite with a stun gun (WHAT!?), a wonderful lesson for the kiddos.

The Israel propaganda juxtaposed with dinosaurs had me cackling. A white mannequin wearing an Indian headdress looks down into the museum with exasperation.

The combination of displays made NO sense whatsoever. Here's a section about astronauts right next to a model of the Ark! Here's a bunch of Bibles next to a dinosaur footprint! Huh?

It's really a shame what some children are being "taught". The modern scientific theory on how our Earth was formed is absolutely riveting. Evolution is FASCINATING!

Tossing all credible research out the window to just say "God did it" shows laziness and an appalling lack of curiosity. What a truly pessimistic view new earth Creationists have of the world. Luckily your numbers are dwindling. 😉

This was a huge blessing to my family!!! We visited family in Waco and took the trip to see the dinosaur footprint fossils and stopped at CEM first. We spent about 2 hours here and barely scratched the surface of the amounts on information contained in this museum. It's a blessing they thoughtfully placed it just before the Dinosaur State Park. This will boost your faith in Christ and expose a non-believer to new thoughts.

For a $10.00 charge each we saw one room and something about a lab . We did not see provenance or archeology information on all the large dinosaur fossils . If it was there it was hidden or confused with all the cluter.
