What an amazing awesome place. I went to donate some items but decided to take a look around as well, I was not disappointed. If you can't find something to do in this store you have issues. They have: note cards, books, records, tiling items, woodworking, painting, candles, sewing, embroidery, latch hooking, journals, even old photographs and slides so that if you don't know how to have fun you can see pictures of other people having fun. Even with all of that I'm sure I missed a few categories! If you're moping that you have nothing to do, go visit and you will find something.

If all of the other five-star reviews have not convinced you to go to this place, let this one. This store is incredible. The prices are affordable for everyone, there is free parking, and the selection can't be beat. They have everything from insulation, to colored pencils, to a union loom, to vintage postcards, to jewelry... the list goes on! The staff is super helpful and kind, and you are always welcome to donate. In the store, they also have a QR code to help you find a creative reuse center near you. It's awesome!!

I enjoyed the organization of the different materials and the amount of various things to choose from. I was surprised to find these fisher price toys and the amount of crayons/watercolors to use. I like the idea and concept of this store and wish more cities implemented a place like this. The customer service is lacking but it’s almost understandable since the staff is a volunteer force.

This is such an amazing city resource! They have a constantly rotating selection of treasures to dig through! They have tons of vintage linens and photos, as well as a wide selection of crafting supplies of every kind. This is definitely the place to come for yarn, knitting needles, and fabric! There's an entire shelf of bins full of bags for 50¢! I saw tons of beading looms, and several quilting frames today! Be sure to check out the jewelry! They also have an online store where you can order some of the nicer items they get in! Be aware that item pickup is in-store, no shipping! Be sure to check out the community activities that they host!

Interesting place. It seems like a great place for teachers to get reasonably priced, gently used classroom decor. I was looking for yarn and didn’t find much but I’m sure the selections vary wildly and I will go back next time I’m in Austin.

So many good finds! Just make sure you have the time to browse and dig through the bins! You can find some real treasures for super cheap. Magazines are VERY cheap if you’re looking for collage supplies! Lots of paper making packs too! Tons of canvases to be reused as well.

I volunteer at ACRC weekly sorting and folding quilting fabrics in preparation for sale at great prices. It's light work and an opportunity to meet great people.
These fabrics are received as donations and sold as new or gently used rather than going to a landfill.
