Mi primo llegó el día Sábado 24 de marzo de 2018 sin una pierna en silla de ruedas pq no tenía su prótesis de pierna en aquel momento, pero aún así el siempre ha sido una persona autoindependiente y hace todo solo sin q lo ayuden,hasta tiene licencia de conducir pq maneja autos,motoras,truck,etc.....Al otro día lo dejaron tirado frente a las puertas de la iglesia Calvario City Church en Orlando un día Domingo como a la 1:30pm,tuvo q deambular 8 meses casi pierde su vida hasta q consiguió la verdadera ayuda.El Sr.Mendez de Hogar Crea de Orlando lo vió como una carga por su situación física y no como una persona q Dios llevó a ese lugar para q lo ayudarán"un alma de salvación""me entienden.Tal vez pensó q no podía vender bizcochos,fundas,flanes,etc.....o no podría beneficiarse de ese varón y q sería tal vez una carga para él y para el centro.No se dejen engañar pq muchos de esos hogares ven las vidas con el signo de Dollar y no como almas de Salvación.Gracias a Casa Bethesda q lo ayudaron y a Casa de Discipulado Un Nuevo Comienzo en Dios Pastor Raúl Cancel q lo ayudó "la gloria es de Dios"y hoy día ese varón tiene apt.,tiene esposa,tiene carro,no usa drogas,hace Uber de pasajeros,vende ropa,entre otras cosas.Con Cristo todo es posible así q no se dejen engañar, amén 🙏🏻🔥 Saludos a Méndez 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️👎🏻

For anyone who doesn't understand the concept of what you all do here...

Here's a little insight that has made me appreciate what is offered here in your place.

I think it's awesome that those seeking help and guidance are able to still communicate with those outside of your facility. They are not locked down without fresh air, they participate in helping to sell cakes and desserts, which then allows you to buy food to prepare meals for them, which also allows you to pay the bills in the facility, to keep it running. Some may think that everything in life is free but in all reality, everything isn't. The locations you have are awesome and more people should come together and have a heart in helping to make a change in people's lives! Please don't be offended off of someone else's sly remarks. I'm sure if the shoe fit for them, they would then turn around and need a service like yours! Be humble, for those who read this. A change is being made for the better ❤❤❤

This program must be very successful. The guys in the program stop at my shop every week to sell flan, cheese cake and pastries. The men are always very humble and respectful. They are willing to answer any questions and are very honest. I think it is great that these guys are out there earning money to help pay for their housing while in the rehab program. I just wish the flan wasn't so damn good because I need help with my willpower skills. 😁

I only went here for a garage sale they were having but man did these guys have a great vibe. The building had a real “home” feel to it. Addiction is one of the toughest battles in life but before i was told this was an addiction center I thought this was like a mason lodge or men’s fraternity - you can tell the brotherhood is strong here and whatever they’re doing is working. Thanks for being friendly and welcoming guys.

Terrible Fundraising Techniques. Has employees go door to door of businesses selling pies. Not a problem however I noticed that they were carrying said pies in a stolen basket from Target. Coincidentally my girlfriend works at said Target and they were NOT authorized to take the basket. When questioned the person responded with "Do you work at Target or *?" I let him know I know plenty of people who work at that Target and he taunted me in to reporting it to them, so I did. Get some new fundraisers guys.

I haven't gone not been near as a matter of fact am a duel diagnosed individual who is presently at Fort Lauderdale behavioral health center in rehab.
Am looking for support and as well in recovery. One thing of me is that I take mental health medicine.
I carry myself properly and am very selfaficiant... I have care plus and under Medicare. I truly hope that I can be helped... Thanks for the awesome review I observed... Bless

You cant trust anyone that goes door to door anymore.

One of our resident flag me down as I was passing by and a young man was going door to door in our 55+ community. I told the young man that I was the property manager and that he would have to leave the community for we have signs posted clearly at our entrances stating that we do not allow "soliciting and or trespassing on the property". He told me that Hogar CREA comes in here once a month. I told him that I never heard or seen any of you in here before. He then told me that he had permission from the managers and that he was allowed to sell pies in our community. I told him again that I am the managers and you do not or I did not give Hogar CREA any permission what so ever. I told him I was going to call the authorities to remove him. Finally he said that he would leave. Let me tell you that the representative that was dropped of to go door to door had lied to me and he acked strange as if he was on drugs. With whats going on these days I would not be wanting food from a stranger especially a person that was dishonest. As I was escorting him out he did apologize and he complied without any other issues.
If I see you in here again I will have the local police come out and put a trespass on you.
