Good spot for an overnight stay. We came in off the highway to stop for the night. Only criticism is that the available spots were not posted which is what I’ve come to expect from KOA campgrounds so I had to drive around in the dark and pick a spot and then go back to the front office. Other than that the place was clean and we felt welcome with our 4 dogs. Dog play parks were clean and sufficient.

A wonderful rv park all sites were concrete pads level and in good shape. The front desk certainly had the right personality on board. No reservation no problem. Clean bath and showers. Laundry well kept.

We thought this would be a great place to stop as advertised at KOA’s website. This as far as I remember is the only bad review I have written. Initially when we arrived and the man in the office was very friendly. He gave us some information and we also bought a few item at the store.|| ||At first when we arrived to our site we started having some electrical problems. It was that the electric was fluctuating quite a bit. I called. The office and ask if they were doing some work on the electrical. He said he was unaware of any issues but would look into it ASAP. ||Next thing I knew he came to our RV to see what was going on. I have the capabilities of recording that type of electrical problems. I showed that to him. He told me he thought all I needed to do was switch plugs on the breaker box. I didn’t know there would be (2) 30 amp plugs together. I did that and every thing seemed to be okay for the next couple of hours. Then it started up again. But was worse. Our power completely shut off. Having a bit of experience in the electrical field ( Retired HVAC contractor), I went to check to see if a breaker tripped it did and I reset the breaker and heard a sizzling noise from the box. I believed this to be an emergency that might need to be addresses. I called the emergency number. Then all hell broke loose. ||||I was totally blindsided, lambasted etc … told it was me causing the problem. That nothing was wrong etc…. This went on for several minutes as all I wanted to do was plug in to the electrical box on vacant site next to ours. Then I was hung up on. Several minutes went by and I was getting ready to boondock for the night and go to the office in the morning. when a very sweet lady came by to check on us. She was very apoligetic and explained to me because of the hour (7:30PM) they could not do anything till the next morning. I ask if I could plug us in the vacant site. She said sure if you think it would help. I did and problem solved. ||||We left around 9:30AM the next morning with no one coming by to check etc….

Friendly staff.
Sites were listed as 55 feet long, but our 41 foot fifth wheel, barely fit.
We had to change sites, because our first one was not level.
Wi fi did not work at our site.
Quiet location, close to I-10.

Bathrooms were clean. Our tent site is supposed to have power but they have the boxes locked and did not provide a key. Customer service was fair, dog runs aren't stocked and no toys were provided (as described). Good place to stay the night if you like listening to trains hook up and honk all night. Owners dogs continuously barking from inside their mobile home all night. Other patrons not following rules and no one enforcing them. Unkept sharp plants and large rocks in walkways, use flashlight at night because not easy to see these obstacles.

The facilities are older but it was sparkling clean. By far the cleanest KOA we have seen in this trip. Laundry was only 1.50 a load, half the price of the last KOA. Over all a great place if you are just stopping through on the way to somewhere else. The only thing I didn’t care for was the motion activated bathroom lights would shut off while you were in the shower leaving you in pitch black. Once I realized that and noticed the lights over the sink w pull chains I just made sure one of them was on before I showered so at least there was a little light.

The bathrooms were very clean. The laundry was nice. However we were unable to get propane and the free breakfast was unavailable due to someone being sick. Our credit card was double charged and the desk person gave me a VERY hard time about reversing the charges.
