I’d give this place 10 stars! The girls who work here are super nice, even at the end of their shifts. I’ve noticed some customers trying to give them a hard time for no reason—seriously, what’s wrong with people? I’ve been using the Mail and More service on Hollywood Boulevard for a while now, and I can’t recommend them enough! The staff is always friendly, professional, and ready to help with any of my shipping or mailing needs. Whether I’m sending a package or using their notary services, the process is always smooth and efficient. Plus, the location is super convenient. It’s my go-to spot for reliable and fast service!

I’ve had several disappointing experiences at this location. The staff, particularly one individual (the larger overweight woman with red bangs), often seems frustrated and raises her voice at others, which can lead to unprofessional behavior. On multiple occasions, I’ve witnessed the store closing much earlier than the posted hours and sometimes opening late as well. This inconsistency makes it hard to rely on their services.

In terms of pricing, their rates are much higher than standard post offices or other mailing services—sometimes as much as four times more. I understand it’s priced for convenience but even other similar independent mail stores have cheaper mail rates and better service.

For example, sending a letter that might cost $10 elsewhere could be as high as $40 here. It’s important to ask about prices upfront, as they don’t always make the costs clear from the beginning. I’ve even seen situations where customers were upset about the high prices and were threatened with police involvement when they tried to refuse service after realizing the cost and trying to leave with the package.

While I’ve occasionally experienced decent service, more often than not, I’ve observed rude behavior toward other customers. It’s frustrating to see people treated poorly, and it reflects badly on the business plus being unable to know if they are open or closed early sucks . I would recommend finding another place to handle your mailing needs if possible, as both the prices and the customer service leave much to be desired.

The last few times I’ve used this service I’ve felt extremely ripped off by the shipping prices. I kept thinking about it, so I dug out my receipts and compared what I was charged to the regular post office shipping price. In 3 different cases, they charged $10 extra per package over what the USPS price would be for the same item. Not per shipment; per package. They’re nice and it’s a convenient location, and I want to support local — but ripping off your customers like that is not nice, convenient, or supportive of the people who support you. It’s a shame.

I don’t have a mailbox here and I always wear a mask as is the smart thing to go during a pandemic - so I’m not sure what the big to do is with other negative reviews but I come about once a week to drop off pre-paid packages or purchase shipping or other supplies related to my creative business and I’ve never had a bad experience here. I’ve been grateful for their attention to detail during the pandemic and safety measures, I think the prices for products are good, their selection of random shipping or office supplies is superb (they always have what I need) and the customer service has always been good. I honestly cannot say anything bad about this store. There’s nothing bad to say. I’m so grateful it’s within walking distance of my home. AND I love their puppy mascot Abby or Abbie (?) She’s so cute!

I’ve been going to this location for about nine years, and while it’s always been convenient, I’ve noticed some ongoing issues. They tend to close earlier than posted—sometimes 10 to 15 minutes before the stated closing time. I’ve had the experience of arriving with boxes in hand just before closing, only to find staff already leaving for the day. It’s frustrating, especially when you’ve planned your time around their hours. I recommend calling ahead to make sure they’re open, as the hours don’t always seem reliable.

Recently, I left a review mentioning this issue, and unfortunately, the situation escalated when I went back to the store. The staff confronted me about the review and were quite upset. They even banned me from the store unless I changed the review to something more positive. While I had hoped to have a conversation about the early closures, I was instead met with hostility, which was disappointing after being a long-time customer.

I understand that everyone has tough days, and working in customer service can be challenging. I really do hope that the staff there find more joy in what they do and that things improve for them. I also hope they can work on their customer service, as it would make such a big difference for those of us who rely on this store.

It’s a tough situation, but I’m optimistic things can get better with a little kindness and understanding on both sides. Because of the recent situation I changed my 2 star review from before to 1 star. I refuse to lie about my experience so I will be going to the FedEx 2 blocks away instead from now on. It’s farther but also a little cheaper. So it’s a win-win.

The parking lot sucks but that’s not their fault. Ula is a beacon of joy at a hectic and often angst filled intersection that not even the pot smoke from upstairs can calm.

I love Mail & More!! They make my life so much easier. I have family on the east coast with lots of birthdays to celebrate and they always pack up my gifts and get them there safe and on time. They are also so kind and cheerful and remember me every time I go in. I definitely recommend Mail & More for all of your mailing and packaging needs! 😊👍
