I hired Red River Gorge Weddings for my wedding photography and ceremony which took place 11/11/2023.

My main contact was Lila, and she's so wonderful. She is so easy to talk to, and really knows her stuff.

We had a small wedding, 7 guests, 2 dogs, and us. Every need we had was accommodated including my dad has very limited mobility, and Lila was excellent at suggesting accommodating locations for him.

Our phone conversations were productive and Lila answered every question we had, and met every concern with expertise and assurance.

The day of, we met Lila and her team and they were early! We were too, so it worked out! We talked through things a bit, did our introductions, and started the walk to our ceremony location. We chose a spot in the woods near a waterfall. RRG Weddings has SO many options to choose from.

The officiant assigned to our wedding was amazing. She was radiating happiness for us the entire time. The whole thing was wonderful. My only wish was that I could hear the music better. My aisle song was really special to me and I couldn't hear it, and the guests couldn't hear it. But all in all, not a big deal.

After the ceremony, our photoshoot began and it was so much fun! We got such a variety of shots without having to go too far, and Lila's sunset planning was spot on.

I highly recommend Lila and her team to anyone looking to get married or other photography services in the Gorge. Our photos blew our minds!!! Everyone we've shown them to can't get enough of them.

Thank you Lila, and team! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. You rock!

Oh my goodness, I cannot recommend Red River Gorge Weddings and Lila’s photography ENOUGH!! Best decision ever for our big day - RRG Weddings made every step of the way such a smooth experience for us. The consultations with Lila were perfect for getting everything squared away and every detail worked out. Also, the day of the wedding - I could not have done it without Lila and her wonderful team! They facilitated EVERYTHING and were so great to have there! Also…not to mention, the PHOTOS!!! They truly planned the intimate forest wedding of my dreams! I wasn’t interested in the endless wedding planning tasks so they decorated, handled the wedding cake, & really made the day of so easy for me. All I had to do was show up! Choosing Red River Gorge Weddings and having Lila as our photographer was the best decision we made with our wedding! We wanted something unique and stress-free out in nature and could not have had a better ceremony spot in the Gorge. If you want a small or intimate outdoor wedding in the Gorge area with amazing photos to remember it by, Red River Gorge Weddings is the way to go! We used their services when getting married in April 2022, and could not be happier with our experience.

Lila is a talented photographer, wedding planning extraordinaire, and overall lovely human being who was wonderful to work with. She works with you to craft your day to your vision, covering all the details from what kind of ceremony you want to what kind of natural backdrop(s) you'd like in photos. She thinks of everything: for example, we were concerned about what would happen if it rained, and she had multiple suggestions for what we could do in that scenario (it didn't rain, but after hearing all that, we weren't worried about if it did!). Everything is uniquely customized and tailored to your situation and preferences. Her very warm, friendly nature makes also working with her easy and fun, which is especially great if you usually feel uncomfortable being photographed like both of us do!

In addition to providing high-quality photography and knowing multiple location options to suggest, she also handles a lot of the logistics, such as arranging the officiant and, if needed, witnesses...all of this took away so much of the stress of wedding planning because we basically just had to show up and enjoy our day. There are also many optional extras, such as cake, flowers, and altar- we personally went with amazing pastries and chocolates from the locally owned Chocolat Inn and Cafe and our only regret was not ordering more!

Our wedding was absolutely wonderful, and we are so happy to have such gorgeous photos to remember it with forever, all thanks to Red River Gorge Weddings.

I purchased the Creatures of Comfort package and was delighted with how attentive Lila and her staff were at each turn of my two-day wedding celebration. She was professional and punctual (even when the wedding party was late) with a keen eye for detail and drama. My photos are amazing! Lila should be appointed the captain of weddings. She made us laugh and feel at ease (which is so important).

B was our officiant and made the day extra special by including requests of my favorite poet and movie quote. I even got to pick our song to "walk the aisle" to my waiting husband-to-be. Thank you for making my day so grand and memorable! 10/10
